Harman (Anuj Sachdeva) visit his ancestral home in Punjab to attend a wedding. He discovers that he can see and communicate with the spirit of his grandfather Ranjit (Harbhajan Mann) who had died 50 yrs ago. Story jumps between 50 years back and present. It is shown that Ranjit was in love Sukhaan (Mehreen Kaleka), a woman from a neighboring village, but couldn't marry her. Harman is son of Ranjit's son from his first marriage. Harman falls in love with Preet (Sonia Mann), who happens to be granddaughter of Sukhaan. 50 years ago, Sukhaan's brother Gurjant initially agreed for marriage between Ranjit and Sukhaan but later backed out after finding out they were in love before marriage (a taboo in those times).
In the ensuing conflict Ranjit gets killed by Gurjant. In the present day, Gurjant again opposes the marriage between Harman and Preet and raises arms. Ranjit's friend comes to Harman's rescue and both sides enters into a stand off. At this point, Harman reveals to everyone that he can see Ranjit's spirit, which still lingers on in village due to a commitment between Sukhaan and Ranjit of leaving this world together. Sukhaan suffers shock and dies. Everyone then witness the spirit of Ranjit comes to receive Sukhaan's spirit. Seeing this Gurjant asks for forgiveness from Ranjit and agrees to marriage between their grandchildren.
